Tips on using your "online gateway"Each morning, the computer system will do a search and alert you by email of any properties added to your online gateway (or changed). On your gateway, you can "tag" each home as "favorite", "possible" or "reject". "Reject" is helpful to get something out of the way that you know you don't want; then you don't have to see it again. It saves you time later. If you've already made the decision that one is a "no", then click the link to reject that property. You CAN retrieve a rejected property listing, if you change your mind later, by clicking on the "reject" tab (which will only exist if you have first reject a property). The "reject" link is labelled "I don't like this one, remove it from my list". "Favorites" and "possible" are useful to categorize properties you have previewed and you like. I will be able to see which properties you have tagged as "favorite" and "possible". It helps me to know what sort of properties you are interested in. The "favorites" link is labelled "I Like this one, save it to my favorites", and the "possible" link is labelled "Possibility". You can also make comments or questions for each home and I can see those, too. This is helpful because your comments stay with the property listing. You might ask "Does this one have a washer/dryer?" or a similar question. Or you might just remark to yourself "This one is a bit too small." The link you use for making comments is labelled "Edit Notes for this property". I can also make notes on a property and you will see those notes from me. WHERE IS A PROPERTY? You can click on the "map this property" link and see where it is located. If you're in the area, you can drive around and view properties with a "drive by", if you like doing that. Many properties require appointments to view them and you'll need a lockbox key (I have one) to view a vacant property. Contact me if you want to view a particular property. |
